'Tis the Season. G1 + Micro Nikkor 5.5cm. Preset Ver. f3.5.
Lovely composition, Leica. Black and White makes a nice change too.
Season's Greeting! Bokehgraphy seems to be somewhat linked to seasonality as we see less and less botanical themes and images in recent posts (not too surprising considering the prevailing weather at least in the northern hemisphere). You are also right about what you said regarding jkung's blue jeans -- "bokehgraphers should never be short of a subject!". Best,

Beautiful illustration on how defocusing can provide a totally different image.
Just been quite busy getting projects to finalize this year. But as I see some fine contributions and new "bokeh addicts" here

We don't see too many of the frontal bokehgraphs, but they are very effective

Here is one from todays Christmas shopping.
This is bokeh produced past infinity.
It gives the fruitlike shapes to the tiny lights.
This is amazing Michiel.
Like a bokeh rainbow!
This one is called:
"Please save me a chair, Mable"
G1 with Pentax 50/1.4 and tilt adapter
Next cruise is in Feb. Can't wait because I am getting cabin fever.
This is the sequel to Mable
"Mable, I need a yellow chair!"
At first I thought I call this one - Can you hear me Major Tom - but I choose for the 1949 booktitel of the Russian philosopher P. D. Ouspensky.
In the sixtys rather popular under smoking hippys
