Several images blended together, but it is mostly about the bokeh, so I put it in this thread.

GF1 with Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Summitar 5 cm f/2 -- ISO 100 -- f/4 -- 1/800 -- 5 cm

For the first day in a long time we had Sun & Blue sky all day long!

. . . . . a walk to the local used camera store and picked up a 1951 (according to the serial number listing) Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Summitar 5cm f/2. Very clean glass, takes nice photos and I like the bokeh!

Something a bit different. What's your take?
Focusing against bright sun, even with the EVF, can be challenging,
especially with these eyes that are aging and feet that don't balance like they used to.(-:

Hi Dan,
Wow! I love the bokeh produced by your Leitz Wetzlar Summitar 5 cm glass. Your fine vintage Leitz glass collection seems to be growing! Best, Leica 77. :)

Re "Daisies"

Dan, that bokeh looks like it was painted by an impressionist - what a wonderful image.

Oh dear, here I go again :cool::cool:

Catching up on this thread. Some great shots as usual. One of the recent ones I like is Dan's 50cm Leitz Daisies shot - good looking lens and good photo.

I love this one, so unusual because of tonality and composition - well done

Dan, you've made me go out and buy that lens :banghead:

Here is another IGBW3528 image (similar to the last one, but processed differently)

It is called "Follow the red, blue, green and yellow brick road" :)

Keith

This one is excellent. I vry much like the look created with this lens
