Photographing your Bokeh

Thanks Dan! Your Dahlia in white/lilac was outstanding!

I made a typo, the Steinheil Quinon is a f1.5 lens (not f1.9)

The rumor that I have bought a Sony a55 is highly exaggerated :D

All of this raises a serious question - if we all move off micro 4/3, where does this thread go? It won't be immediate, but more and more people may be adopting these other options. I see that we are already missing a large number of bokehgraphs from people who shoot in other formats and think they can't post on this thread.

Keith
Time to plead for a general all camera forum, just for the more specialized threads like this one or the blends thread for example. They don't need to be brand/mount depended.
May be this an idea?

And now for desert some soft/smooth bokeh from today :)

Klaus - that second rose shot takes my breath away

Michiel - I agree, maybe the admins are watching - we need to make this thread camera neutral - emphasis on the lenses.

Here is an old style bokehgraph

Michiel, a wonderful bokehgraph! Love the Dahlia, with the great colors and the soft blur bokeh . . . . . . Outstanding!!!

Keith, love the style where the photograph could be a painting. Love the circles and lines and the even flow of the bokeh throughout the whole photograph!

Nice done!

Klaus, just a beautiful Bokehgraph! I love the effect of sharp grass in a photo with the wonderful color and circular bokeh! Oustanding!

The Steinheil Quinar f1.5 25mm is proving to be one heck of a lens! This something new or just taking something that has been hanging around the draw out for walk? :D
