Lili, I enjoyed your bokehgraph! Please keep the contributions coming. The view reminded me of when I lived in the Dallas area, the view from my office window was similar during one of the few days that it would rain.


Michiel, love the Meyer-Görlitz Trioplan 7,5cm/2.8, it certainly provides sharp detail with a wonderful soft circular bokeh! Outstanding colors as well!

A short introduction of myself: photographing (or at least taking pictures) for many years. Reading this very nice forum for more than a year. Plunged into MFT last January with an Oly E-P1 and adding a Pana G2 a few weeks ago (I missed a viewfinder that much ).

Yesterday my very old (bought around 1973?) Kenlock 135 mm f/2.8 M42 got some air on the G2 around the village. It is surprisingly sharp for a cheap 37 year old lens and with the excellent viewfinder of the G2 I can in fact focus it. These might not be the best shots to show the bokeh, but here we go:

A view from the church-hill in our little town down to the canal. In the foreground a corner stone from the ruins of a 600 year (approx?) old house.

That 75/1.8 Voigtlander has a nice draw and colors IMO...
Thanks for the kind words. those are the 1st images at f/1.5 and between 1m and 2.5m... I had no idea what to expect, since I have only used the Sonnar on my G1, up till now. I do like the bokeh very much, and the [magic] at close distances.

I have a couple of old Rolleis also (Rollei Planar 50/1.8 and Rolleinar 85/2.8) - have to see what they can do also. Both focus a lot closer than the Kenlock (at 2.5 meters), so that should give some possibilities.
