Thanks, I think

It has great Bokeh, not sure who made it though. It is (was) a "preset" iris (2 rings). But, a previous owner took it out. They should have spent the $50.00 to have it cleaned up if was sticky... really... :(

Peter, great you were able to fix it. VIVITAR lenses are pretty good (some of them), especially the "Series I" types.

Here more of that Century Precision 150mm,

"lined up"

Glad you like it. It's actually a little pp technique I've been fiddling with the last few months.

Basically I use the lens blur filter and fiddle with the parameters.

Interestingly...I showed some of these for the first time to a photo group I'm part of the other night and reactions ranged from "You may be onto something..." to "Disturbing" (due to lack of tack sharp areas). :)

Here's some others (that I also just posted on the fun with 4/3 thread).

Enjoy.

Interesting effect Peter, surely attractive for some people.
As I do my photography when I press the trigger in a purist
approach, it's not "my thing", but as said, surely interesting.

Re: New Technique

New technique with my G1 and trusty f1.7 20mm pancake.
Funny that. Looking at this image for the first time reminds me of a toy boat rather than a full sized one - the out of focus areas trick the mind into seeing a bad product close-up, if you see what I mean.
