Photographing your Bokeh

Re: NYC Bokeh

See the epitaph photo by Saul Leiter that runs in today's NY Times Lens Blog:

http://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/11/27/seeing-beauty-with-saul-leiter/?hp&_r=0

Leiter, if you are not familiar with him, was a pioneer in using color in the 1950s and 1960s, with a unique way of presenting color and light and a lower Manhattan feeling for spaces (tight!). He has only received wider attention in the last few years with two excellent Steidl books. The picture shows a masterful use of both bokeh and flare. Have a look.

how do you adapt these projection lenses, Klaus ?

I was lucky, I had a focusing helicoid where I could fit it in loosely, duct tape did the rest ;-)

But I will do a permanent fitting later, having an adapter machined for it.

I would look out for those Visionar, Kipronar, Meoptar lenses etc. as they are still affordable,
yet the prices have already started to climb!!
