Actually from a sad scene. One person dies in that fire.

Another fine image in your latest series.

A bit mure surreal:
I like the orchard series very much, but the last one is one is *outstanding!*

I agree; the orchard photos are stellar.
Geneva harbor. Heavily textured and processed.
Lovely image, jlever.
Has a very nice impressionistic feel about it
Road Leading to Darkness
Here is another shot from Yellowstone Park. I love the moody weather we ran into while driving thru the park. I of course added more mood to the image, but it was still a dramatic day to shoot.
Frozen Reflections EP-2
Went for a walk on New Yearís day at Antioch park. Iím always shooting reflections in the water, but this time the lake was partially frozen which added natures own texture to the shot. This year I thought Iíd do more B&W work, so that is where I started with this image, but I couldnít resist adding more texture and a bit of color.

I know that feeling. The frozen ice gives a nice texture.
"Ice Reflections #1"
Here is another shot from our walk around Antioch park. I really went with the color on this one! Itís a blend of 3 different reflections in the frozen lake combined and twisted a bit.
Yes, I got inspired :-)
Was shot on a parking lot :-).
Really like this one Uwe. Have you printed any of the recent ones? I think this would be s lovely print.

Found one more. A FedEx truck stirred up the water.

The woman makes the picture.
Note: Some bright areas look a bit hot to me.
Maybe, I would probably adjust that when I print it, if I do. I was after a strong contrast, but on my system, it changes between my Cintique monitor and the 30inch apple display.Looks good on the Cintique.
>"Reflection Of A Woman Standing On A Bridge Under The Storm Clouds"
I am amazed how such a small element can make such a major difference.
Thanks everyone.. And it does make a big difference and this time she was actually standing there. I do have shots of people that are blurred that I keep trying to add to some of my shots, but it is tricky to make it look real. The real thing is much better.
