Blends

Couldn't agree more about blue skies, and this thread has taught me how to deal with it.
I posted this one in another thread. The original has a vivid blue sky which detracted from the building. A blend of two processings on the same image.

Just a tip: try to tone down the blue of the water.

>have a good shot to work with and to try and create the mood later.

Mike, I think this would be worth an own thread. This is a very strong concept and blending is just one part of it (but a strong part).

To reach divine revelation we have to climb
the stairways leading thru the sea of flames of temptations

@Keith
Got a bit closer to "Arrows of desire"

I fought my way through the sea of flames, and there she was:

Sie rief mir Worte ins Gesicht
und hat sich tief verbeugt
verstand nur ihre Sprache nicht;
ich hab' es nicht bereut.

Oh non rien de rien
Oh non je ne regrette rien

I said - "where is the piercing arrow"
She said, Klaus is looking after that, you may have to wait - he has a lot on his plate (especially over the holidays) :deadhorse:

PS - very nice blend

Ok, if I can figure out how to start a thread. I'll look for an image that I have really worked.

you are too deep into that kind of music

Oh non, rien de rien

Speared by the Arrow of Desire
Breaks through my breast, tears my out out... flaming...

Eine Liebe, ein Versprechen
Sagt, ich komm zurück zu dir
Nun ich muss es leider brechen,
Seine Kugel steckt in mir

Eine liebe, zwei Pistolen
Eine zielt mir ins Gesicht.
Er sagt, ich hätte dich gestohlen,
Dass du mich liebst weiß er nicht.

Roter Sand und zwei Patronen
Eine stirbt im Pulverkuss.
Die Zweite soll ihr Ziel nicht schonen,
Steckt jetzt tief in meiner Brust

Amazing images Uwe. What kind of trees are those? It's a beautiful location. The texture works well with these images.

Mike
Not sure. Could be walnut.

This is how all Silicon Valley once was. Hollister has still a lot of orchards. This is about 3 miles from home.

This is a blend of three versions of the same image - no texture, I thought the noise was enough
