These two could quite easily be mistaken for tight crops of skies from Turner or Constable paintings. I know you said your wife does but do you paint?

Both my mother and father are painters and my wife, so you would think that it might have rubbed off on me, but I am much better with a camera and sometimes adding a bit of paint with the wax that I use for coating the prints.
I sure wish I could paint!
