Very nice posts by fine digital imaging enthusiasts in this thread. While I was in the Orient recently, I purchased one of these leatherette kits for my GF1. I realize eBay has a variety of these kits available. The leatherette I have installed has certainly improved my ability to grip the camera body.

This looks really nice... a big improvement, I think.

It's great to receive your positive comments. The leatherette on my GF1 has made a significant difference in my ability to firmly grip the camera. As you have mentioned, it looks really nice, giving a bit of retro appearance. Brian, thanks again! All the best. Leica 77.

There are so great photos in this thread! I just starting using my new GF1 a few weeks ago and I'm totally in love. The 20mm is one of the most fantastic lenses I've used on any camera. It's to the point now where my XSI is probably going to get sold. Anyway, here are a few of my favorite shots so far.
