E-P2 EVF --- Excellent!

Just got to play with the E-P2, the EVF is much better than the Panasonic EVF for the GF1, much larger, higher res.

Robert, how's the AF speed?

In my few minutes with the camera I got the impression it was about the same as the E-P1, but I have only used the E-P1 for a few test shots here and there, so my input is probably not of any real value...

I am told it is pre-production but may be identical to production, if that makes any sense.

Beer solution....I would have thought caviar and champagne. Rember this is Leica :ROTFL::ROTFL:

Robert, at what focal length would you estimate the viewfinder magnification to be 1x? I'm curious to see how well it would work to shoot with both eyes open with a 40mm or 50mm lens.

As I suspected!

I think it will be better than the G1's EVF (barring any image break ups that may happen electronically).

The optics in the Oly EVF appears to be a stellar design.

Thanks Robert. So a Zeiss 45/2 for the Contax G with an adapter could be an interesting choice then.
