Still playing with my kit - G1, Nikkors go to Pinnacles

Fun day at Pinnacles National Monument yesterday, plus a bonus appearance by the moon. Still playing around with my kit, seeing which Nikkors I like on the G1. I did discover that I had basically been using OIS as my replacement for a tripod and lost a shot or two that the kit lens would have eaten up.

I also have some panos that I am editing.

So far, of my nikkors, I have found I like the 20, 50 (no shots from that in this set), and 105. However, I was finding the 20 a bit harder to achieve the focus I wanted for landscapes. Up close with that lens is fine.

Those colors are pretty much the norm there when the sun comes down. It makes for some spectacular views as you are hiking in the late afternoon.
