Video at XMs with the GH1 (Oak Hills)

Uwe, such a beautiful part of the world--and so differrent from my mountains and hills (the individual trees against the rolling hills that are so nicely defined with shadow against each other). I esp. liked the shots at 1.0.

The same hills are golden in Summer. The light was brutally harsh and yet it the video came out quite nice I think. The hard part is to transport the emotional quality of this wonderful nature. But this keeps us trying.

Technical note: It took me hours to find a solution to reduce the shake to a reasonable level because we did not use a tripod but the Glidetrack Shooter instead:

Well done! A beautiful view of a Christmas Day scene without snow.....speaking for someone who has lived in Alaska and Minnesota for 50+ years, that's a really appealing video. :thumbs:

One of these days, I'll have to spend Christmas in a warmer climate.
