Micro 4/3rds lens communication question.

Do the Panasonic lenses communicate the correction infomation to the E-P2, and visa versa with the Oly lenses on Lumix cameras ???

I have the E-P1 and it works fine with my Panasonic lenses.

What the camera does with that data may be different. For example, I don't think that Olympus corrects CA which Panasonic does, but then again, Olympus doesn't correct CA in its own lenses either.

I have the G1 and the MA-1 .. works very well with my Oly 9-18mm




can't see why it wouldn't work the other way ... they're just wire links and it is an OLY lens

thanks ... helps to have nice materials to photograph, so I can't take all the credit.

I must say that the G1 is the best camera I've ever had (and I've have / had a few)
