The New Panasonic (M)4/3rds Cameras Speculation Thread

Hi everyone,

I decided to make a new dedicated thread for speculating and posting information about possible new Panasonic (M)4/3rds cameras.

So far:

1) From this source it seems like we should be expecting a camera with a "back illuminated sensor" which is more sensitive to light around March?

It's from the 4/3 rumours site, but I've used google translate on it,

http://translate.google.com/transla...nic-g1-camera-verschijnt-in-maart-update.html

2) A new micro site dedicated to Lumix G and L cameras was up...

The below quotes containing links are from Doug's thread (http://forum.getdpi.com/forum/showthread.php?p=174673#post174673)

Surprised this hasn't been posted yet:

Let the rumors swirl :)...

Interesting that the site with the countdown on it has a picture of the "discountinued G1" on it

http://www.panasonic.com.sg/lumixg/

Then at the link below it says "Join us to celebrate the launch of our new lumix G micro (exclusive to the lumix G and L series)" and then it says "be the first to see our new range of camera products"

http://www.panasonic.com.sg/lumixg/register.htm

So definately a new range of G and L slr's coming out?

Perhaps the L will be the mirrored camera panasonic filed patents for earlier:

And of course there should be other cameras as they said "new range"
Strangely the Panasonic sites doesn't work anymore - it was taken down in a matter of hours  Had I known it would be taken down I would have taken screen shots and posted them.

It's a very exciting time to be involved with the (M)4/3rds format! Let's have fun speculating :)
