- - I just bought two Sears branded lenses off e-bay, a 80-200/f4.0 & a 135/f2.8 prime both for $52 including shipping. I should be able to check them out in a couple weeks.

My prize purchase today on e-bay is a Vivitar Series 1, version 2, 70-210 f3.5 for $78 with shipping. Now that one I cannot wait to test out on my G1. :D

Looks likely the Sears 80-200 f4.0 is surplus before I even get it.

Ron, I would not rule out the Sears (it could be Pentax badged Sears, btw) over the Vivitar.

Vivitar Series 1 lenses are HEAVY.

I am to start weight lifting as part of my cardiac rehab soon. :D

Version 2 by Tokina is 710g/1.56lb. Yes heavy!

That is a feather weight. Should be nice to start with. ;)

Don't go near the 90-180/4.5 Macro. :D
