My impressions from Dpreview K5 test

1. Olympus 4/3rds sensors are 1/2 stop more sensitive than Nikon or Pentax APS. That has been the case for a long time. As such, it shoots the same at 640 ISO as the others at 400 ISO. However, it has higher noise levels than the K5, D7000 or Canon 7D.
2. Pentax has the best APS performance today. Best noise control, best detail, least issues. However, in some instances, greater megapixel count of the Canon shows as slightly increased resolution.
3. Nikon has issues with jagged lines on fine linear detail.
4. Shooting at 800 ISO or lower (except in shadow noise) which camera used is irrelevant.

All of this is of course predicated on the reaction of each camera's images to whatever processing methods Dpreview used for the raws.
