I'm still trying to come to terms with all these restrictions imposed on the G2 during the motion picture mode. It's just not fair! For instance, I was reading that the iso is set automatically during motion picture recording. Is there any way of knowing what particular iso setting the camera has set during HD video recording? Also, can the camera change the iso setting partway during recording?
The reason I am curious is that I eventually plan to use old manual legacy lenses with the G2 when shooting 720p video. And although setting the aperture on these lenses would give me some manual control, I have this fear that the G2 might compensate for this by adjusting the iso during a shoot - like when panning from light to dark areas. Are my fears unfounded?
