Manual focus with G3?

Quick question: I use some old Canon FD lenses on my GF1 with an adapter. Zooming in for manual focus is easy -- just click the wheel and it zooms, then press the shutter button to return to the full view.

How does this work on the G3? I can't find any information on the usual web sites.

Thanks in advance....

Same way except if you have the magnification on lower (5x) you get picture in picture and retain framing reference.

And with the EVF so much nicer. I have had both the G1 and GF1 and now the G3 and shoot quite a lot with MF lenses and the EVF improves the shooting so much. I have the aux. EVF for the GF1 but its no match for the G3’s. Enjoy.
