+1 interesting, I'll try that too. Looks like Jono did read the manual after all !Hey Jono, thanks for the advice! I will try that next time, then I won't need to focus and recompose.
All the best.

shhhhh - I know you're right . . I'm just too stingy!Jono, I think I'd go with the Lumix 7-14... the E-M5 isn't all about ultra compactness.
Cheers
Brian
I promise I didn't (on my heart). Reading manuals is girly :ROTFL:+1 interesting, I'll try that too. Looks like Jono did read the manual after all !

Did you feel you want any wider or do you feel anything wrong with the IQ?Hi There
I'm slightly wondering if I shouldn't have bitten the bullet and bought the 7-14 (there's still time to change my mind!).
It seems to do a decent job though
PS - particularly liked the last shot of your group.
all the best
Hi TomDid you feel you want any wider or do you feel anything wrong with the IQ?
Personally 21mm(in ff world) is as wide as I need.
On the other side I find 35mm at the long end (18mm) quite useful to avoid switching lenses all the time.
Glenn: This is a brilliant photo! I can't get results this good. :thumbup:12-50 in macro mode
Jono: Great stuff! I especially like the composition and pp in this shot.Busy recently - and the weather has been horrible. Still, the OMD got a real weather test today - thunder and pouring rain - camera and lens seem fine so far.
Here are a couple of shots:
above all with the 12-50 kit lens
Thanks Matt, the kit lens in macro mode is pretty good. Here's another:Glenn: This is a brilliant photo! I can't get results this good.
Cheers, Matt

David,
Carlos, it was a piece of tear drop shaped glass, about an inch in diameter at the bottom. It took a few try for the AF to lock into the correct image because most of the time it will focus on the glass itself instead of the inverted image.David,
what liquid is this? I would like to try a shot like this and was wondering what your setup was.
Hi Jono...first....thanks a million for helping to save my life..from you to Jeremy and on to my Daughter!!!ok, nice photo, but damn, what a great comfy looking kitchen dining area...yeah, the lens, blablabla...it works pretty good :toocool:
Okay, I'll bite: what kind of imagery does it produce ?Here is one emphasizing the "fun" part of the thread title...

Using 55+21mm extension rings, a tilt-adapter to Nikon F (to use with my D700) and F->m43 adapter.
