Re: Fun with 4/3rds cameras/ Image Thread

The demonstrations in Bangkok are turning nasty again. This was taken two days ago, while there were still some smiles to be seen.

    GH1 with Zeiss CY 85mm f/1.4 @ f/4.0

I never was 100% convinced about the qualities of Zeiss lenses, at least not until I bought one myself. The 85mm was bought partly because the price was reasonable and partly because I wanted a fast telephoto lens for m43. However, after seeing the results I get with this piece of glass, I'm truly amazed. I've already ordered a 135mm f/2.8

The only way you can post a larger image is if you have it hosted by one of those sites such as Flickr, Pbase, etc. Then you insert the URL of your image by clicking on the little landscape icon on top of the window, choosing the size you wish to publish it. But, you do realize that we can click on the thumbnail and the image will enlarge, right?!?

    So many great shots here:
Jorgen - your racing shot is fab - and a belated happy birthday.

The blossom is just coming out here (rather belatedly). It's so pretty that it's easy to forget that you actually are supposed to make the composition and colour work!

Here are a couple of shots from today with the EP2 and the panaleica 45 (hopefully I remembered)

You're welcome. Flickr gives you some free space but with limitations. You can only have a certain number of sets and only the last 200 images can be seen (the others are still there but no one can see them). For less than $30/yr you get unlimited everything.

Here is my take on the forthcoming UK General Election, inspired by Rudyard Kiplings great poem ' If '

For non UK members these are the tree main contenders for the top job Prime Minister,

    Panasonic G1 and 20mm f/1.7
