Very nice Mike... especially the first - I like the colour and composition, super sharp as you'd expect.

    Thanks Brian,

Actually I'm not that attached to the Pana 20mm but it does yield good results - it just feel a little lifeless in operation if that makes sense. Having much more fun with the manual lenses

    Best wishes

Yes, it doesn't have much character physically... but the results are a bit special - from earlier this evening.

Hey Brian - why don't you try slipping some of those flower shots into the bokeh thread. There are a few lovely flower series happening in there right now. Yours would fit a treat!

Nice garden shots Brian. You've inspired me to go out and snap some of my own. I used a Contax AX set to macro for most but the GF-1 got some service to. Here are a couple...

    Film grain added in post.

Almost forgot, these were taken with the much maligned Oly 17mm.

    GF1 with Carl Zeiss Contax G Sonnar 90mm f/2.8 -- ISO 100 -- f/2.8 -- 1/1600 -- 90mm

Photo taken from 8th floor window facing east toward Cascade Mountains approximately 35 miles as the crow flies. The brick building with the two flags and cross is the Swedish Medical Center/Cherry Hill Campus 10 blocks east.

That dam shot is stellar and really shows off the capabilities of the Oly 9-18. So sharp! Was this hand held or on mono/tri pod?

My wife took this of me a few months ago in Lake Tahoe. I climbed down those rocks to be near the surface of the lake so I can get a low angle shot with my wide angle lens. I was using my Canon FTb(n) with a Tamron SP 24-48 shooting Velvia 50 film that day. Got some very nice photos from film.

Brian, love your shots, the dam is beautiful . . . . .

The photos of the harriers brought back a fond memory. I was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina in the early '70's when the 1st USMC Harrier squadron was formed. One or two pilots bussed the other squadrons flight lines (A4's & F4's) on their take-off and landings and caused a little stir. The activity was quickly brought to a halt by the CG of the base.

Sorry to be joking - but this is one good picture, I love it. Needs to be printed big enough to hang on the dining room wall.

Without the chair it would still be good - but after a few seconds of viewing, the chair creates the tension.
