    Brian, thats a wonderful shot

Sometimes HDR gives results that you cannot get any other way. I like the way the sky and the landscape complement eachother. Was this handheld?

Here is a picture of a small cruise ship that was built over 40 years ago. She has a beautiful "retro" look about her.
The pilot has just left his launch (red) to see her out of Kusadasi harbour in Turkey (she is reversing with the help of the blue tug)

Sorry for my late feedback have been a little busy for the last few days, regarding the pictures I have used aperture on mac for the black and white, the setting are expose -1.1, BlackPoint 13.44, Vibrance 0.19, then a little contrast and sharpning in photoshop

    Hi Keith,
The Orient Queen is indeed beautiful. I love the gracious "retro" look. Your image is excellent as you included a blue tug boat as well as a red launch next to the queen of the sea. Best, Leica 77.

    . . . . . +3!

Klaus, wonderful photographs, the bride and groom must be very excited about the results!

Congratulations! In previous posts you had mentioned that you had some concerns regarding shooting this wedding . . . . .

Rick, love the shot, lines, shapes, light & dark shades on the stones, different textures, and the solitude broken by the person sitting at the far end!

Just for fun: Meet Signor Pomidor*

G1, 14-45, organic, locally grown, and what the heck are they putting in our water...?

(*) "Signor Pomidor" was a character in an Italian childrens' book that my wife read as a kid, in a popular Russian translation. "Mutant Ninja Tomato" for the rest of you.

Earlier this afternoon, I went for a walk with my son around Stoney Middleton, a small village in Derbyshire having it's annual well dressing ceremony.

Klaus, you wedding photographs are beautiful, wonderful! Your friends were blessed to have you come and create a lasting memory for them.

M5 - Sharp shots with the Zeiss 50/1.5, lovely bokeh! Nothing like a walk with the camera handy . . . . .

Brian, not familiar with a 'well dressing' celebration but I do love the shots of the wells with their artwork, and as usual some wonderful Landscape shots as well!

Dragos. the tree and that second farming implement could have been posted on the bokeh forum! Nice shots and lovely bokeh.

    Thanks for sharing everyone!

. . . . . a lovely walk to your front door if you live in a floating home.

You do have to be careful if you leave in a hurry and head out the back door . . . . .

Thanks, Dan! I admit I don't visit the bokeh thread all that much.

Thanks Dan, well dressing is an ancient ritual for villages around here.

All this talk of the Contax rangefinder lenses reminded me how much I love my Hexanon 57mm f1.2... the E-PL1 with EVF is about the best body I have for use with this relatively heavy DSLR lens.
