    Thanks guy's.

Jorgen how is it using the GH1 in rain? Does have some weather protection? I've been wondering if it would be wise to use my EP1 in moist conditions (light rain/waterfalls etc.).

GH1 in the rain? No, I wouldn't do that. That's what the E-5 is for. Or an E-1. But at the moment, an umbrella does the job. Cost me almost $2, 6 or 7 years ago, but if you want quality gear, you just have to pay the price

Haha, umbrella. Works in Thailand, not sure if umbrella would be suited for windy Iceland.

I've decided to use the EP1 but not abuse it, thus using it in somewhat moist conditions since the body is not that expensive. One should maybe worry more about the lenses.

Thanks you Diane and Pelao. I am finding the G3 to be really special. I can't wait for Lightroom support....might get a little more out of that sensor.

While a lot obviously depends upon the lens used, I am more and more impressed but the detail captured by the G3. What a nice camera: built-in EVF, articulating screen, great sensor, lenses options and yet so small.

    Tempted.

But, I don't want to credit the camera too much - the photographer did an amazing job too.

My understanding is that the G3 is supported in the current beta version of LR now being tested. Hang in there...

    Envy you G3 owners.

Love the overall composition, and great choice of grad. The sky has such a range of tones. I hope you print, because this would make a good one.

Re: Fun with 4/3rds cameras/ Image Thread

Where to start?! So many great photographs.

Jorgen, you have the eye. The girls in the rain is very compelling. Well done.

Jerry and Peter - you guys know how to bring out the best in the 20.

Peter - it's hard to make a judgement online, but it really looks like the extra resolution in the G3 plays to the strengths of the lens. There is so much detail in those shots. Great exposure too.

    Inspiring stuff.

Jorgen - lovely shots as always - the rainy bike shots are fab, and then there's the decisive moment!

Jerry - I really like the slanted glass shot

Hrannah - the landscape is splendid, but your daughter is a thing of beauty and wonder (the photo isn't bad either! )

These days I get to play too!

Jono --- Plying angry birds is a great candid

Sagar --- B&W nature holds a special place with me...

Cindy --- the 90f/2.8 is a supper shot.. I used a 85 on my butterfly shoot..I took a few snaps, took a few steps, took a few steps.. finely got close enough without having to heavily crop... I think my Nikkor 135/f2.8 will be a better choice next time I see a butterfly

    rparmar --- Stunning Flower close-up..

Jorgen --- The rain adds a special mood..

    All great photo's

    Thanks Don, Rich and Cindy!

I'm really enjoying the G3 more than I thought I would. It is a bit different from my other Panasonics (G1, GF1 and GH2), but it is fun to use.

The only shortcoming is the ability to switch focus modes quickly to go from a static shot (like the close-up of the egret) to a sudden change (like when he decided I had gotten close enough, and took off). But no camera can do everything, and I do like what the G3 is capable of doing.

    Lovely pictures everyone!

Jono- That 12mm lens looks very inviting! Not in sight yet over here.
    Jorgen- Love the rain shots!
Ron- Nice and sharp nature shots.

Here is one passing by a lonely Pizzahut.

    Cheers, Michiel

    Thanks Michiel.

Very cool shot. I've never seen a mobile pizzeria before.
