Hi Rafael, for a moment there, I thought you'd got your hands on the first Sony NEX 9 :ROTFL: don't tell me, it's only a prototype :D

Looks like fun!

Thanks for your comments on my little toy, Michiel, Leica77, Brian and Keith !
But, let's not exagerate, it's only a big "lensbaby", isn't it ?

I've done the first test shoots, and the combination works fine.
The microfocusing of the rear standard of the SINAR, together with the tiltable LCD screen and its magnification allow to nail the focus superbly.
If only the wind would calm down a little ...
And if only I had not sold the heavy tripod years ago ... I will definitely need a more stable one .... (buying, buying, always buying ..)

I will need some time to get into the tilts again. I'll use the combo mainly for stitching panorama, I think.

Anyway, here's, in avant-première, a testshot from yesterday evening
on Polaroid :deadhorse:

G1 on SINAR with Rodenstock Sironar-N 210/5.6

C U,

Beautiful Shot Rafael!

. . . . . hopefully you did not have to travel too far to get this shot . . . . .

Set up and break down looks a bit time consuming.

Hi All,
Great shot Brian. I worked with a girl who looked like that when she smiled.
It was quite scary at times.....
Anyway, on the animal theme, i caught this. Man and dog, dog seems to be practicing some form of martial art...!!

Thanks J :)

Have fun with your G1/4x5 Raf. Did you make your own sliding back or are you using a commercial version?
Thanks, Carl !
I'm using a commercial back with a Nikon mount.
Got it for approx 150$ from the evilbay quite some time ago !
