Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Olympus E-5 + ZD 11-22mm f/2.8-3.5
ISO 1600 @ f/3.5 @ 1/5 second, 21mm focal length

Not entirely sure why, but this simple still life proves very appealing to me, particularly for the colors and shapes it presents.

Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.

Here's the one of the little girl and her mother (my wife's friend).

Again credit goes to the G1 (which may soon be replaced by a GH2) and a superlative 20mm f1.7.

Enjoy

Paul, I'm happy to see you using the Zeiss Contax G Sonnar T* 90/2.8!

A beautiful capture . . . . .

PS ~ Love the photo of the Rose taken with the E-620/Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm f3.5 (Komine)!

Pigeon Point #4

Olympus E-5 + ZD 35mm f/3.5 Macro
ISO 200 @ f/16 @ 0.6 second

At the annual lighting of the classic lighthouse lamp:
A glorious sunset of clouds and waves greeted us as the sun descended into the West.

I don't shoot sunsets often, but this was accessible and pretty enough to my eye ... :)

thanks for looking, comments appreciated.

Very nice, Paul. I like the rendering you did on this one. One of the nicer tone-mapped, HDR kinds of rendering styles I've seen recently! :)
Thanks Godfrey.
It is different and the more I view it the more I think it's a bit to spicy. I've found HDR difficult to get right.
