I have very similar experience. My Fotodiox adaptor is very loosely fit, while it is well made.

Problem identified and fixed. The three small screws are loose. You need a #00x50 phillips screw driver (Jeweler's screw drivers) to tighten the screws and then it fits nice and snug like it should. Phew!
