Olympus 14-54 mm MkII, and AF on the G1

Any thoughts if the new Olympus 14-54 mm MKII will be able to AF on the G1??

Apparently the early reports indicate that the CF focussing on the E30 is a lot faster than the MK I.

Thoughts, comments??
