I use the Em1 underwater mainly and like its handling. I still believe m43 sensor images to be very nice but more contrasty and somewhat harsh and sometimes oversharpened compared to larger sensors.

Looks like a really nice lens and a drool-worthy addition to the m4/3 system. Practically though, it's so much bigger, heavier, and more expensive than the already great Panaleica 25/1.4. Diminishing returns, I guess...

The PL 25 f1.4 is a nice lens that is somewhat of a bargain. Unfortunately for me, I also have the 4/3 version and it renders more beautifully IMO. Not sharpness or color or contrast, but how it slides from focus into OOF. Raist3 calls it 'presence', I just think the 4/3 version has left me wanting the same in m4/3 and the PL 25 f1.4 doesn't have it.

I suspect the PL 42.5 f1.2 has what I am missing and maybe this new 25 f1.2 will have it, too.

No matter, as I can't afford either one.
