Good to hear from you Jono and to answer your question... absolutely! Much lighter, better ergonomics (not like the E-1 but neither is the E-3). It is my belief that if Oly had kept the E-1 body with modifications put the E-520 guts in it that it would have been the I emphasize the best camera that they would have put out, far ahead of the E-3! Time will prove me right!!

Hi Bill,
I'm not surprised that you're enjoying the E-520... Very light while retaining a reasonable grip & of course you still get IS. Did you consider the E-30 (I know, it's twice the cost of the E-520)... the ergonomics are closer in feel to the E-1.
