Basic 4/3rds question

I'm new to 4/3rds, so excuse the simple question. Just want to confirm my understanding.

I'll be getting an E-P1, and am considering which version to order. I want to shoot mostly at 50mm. As I understand it, if I get an adapter and the Olympus 25 2.8 pancake, there should be no issues with AF or anything else. Correct?

Are there any other issues I should be aware of when using a standard 4/3 to micro 4/3 adapter? Appreciate the help.

You are correct. I tried out the E-P1 at my local dealer and we used regular 4/3s lens withthe adapter. Worked fine. Mine should be here next week.

How did you use regular 4/3rds lenses without an adapter? - I thought the actual mount was physically smaller with micro 4/3rds
