Ha! That looks great. Even more retro than the original. There's just so many creative people in the world.

Aki Asahi has made covers for a long time, I use them quite often on black painted Leicas. There is no worry about them coming off.

Actually, there are apparently more choices than black. If you go to Aki-Ashai main site http://www.aki-asahi.com/ there are apparently a number of colors... orange, red, blue, green, white and cherry wood. I don't know if these colors are just for Japan, but it certainly looks like you can dress your E-P1 pretty much any way you want. Also various leather cases here: http://blog.livedoor.jp/e_p1/archives/51252305.html Again, perhaps Japan only.

This thing could turn into a cottage industry like fancy wheels for cars!

I ordered one of the skins from these folks. The fit is precise and it looks terrific. it took a total of ten days from the time I ordered it until it arrived here in Denver.
