What did you see this time around in your travels? A question often asked of my wife and me.

Did you see that monument? That mountain? That heritage sight?..The Taj Mahal? ( In this instance ).

Yes, we did. Briefly.

So what did you like the most Ayesha? And you Rayyan?

The people. Always, the people. That is why we travel. To meet the people.
Go as a tourist. Leave as a friend. At least to the few we meet.

Else, all we have are stamps in our passports. To prove we went there.

Then why all those cameras Rayyan?

They make me feel like a real photographer!! An ego thing really.

Thorkil, thanks.

It would appear I have to individually ' unprotect ' these images from the many
that have been ' protected '.

So I shall leave this thread for now.

Best.

Our house is small and old, but you are welcome to stay.

Their hearts were the biggest we found anywhere.

So, which cam for your travels?

I have only this one, said my wife..holding her D-Lux4.
It has gone most all corners of this globe.
High, low. Sea, mountains. Inside, outside.
Dark and sunlight. Landscapes, portraits, street, still-life and what not.

But the new Mini is ..well new.

Hmm..maybe next time when we are in Zurich...

Let Rayyan buy me that as a present.

So many cams..it gets confusing. Maybe the ' want ' is more important than the ' have '.

p.s D-Lux4..Where? Budapest. Or was it Venice? Gets confusing.

Rayyan,

You place many great photos on the website and then remove access. It then makes the thread almost not worth viewing because most of the photo content is blank spaces. I suggest that if you are going to remove the photos, don't post them at all. However my hope is that you will keep posting your fine photos and leave them on the web site.

Howard.

First a big thank you.

Secondly; you are absolutely correct.

Thirdly; I have messed up and the images, in most cases , do not relate to the narrative. I have started a completely new system/s to manage my future postings on the few forums I visit.

Thank you for your understanding.

Kindest regards.
