I have a opportunity to buy a block of Tri X 400. I have a few questions;

1. to refrigerate or freeze?
2. how long will it last?
3. I'm traveling to Russia this spring. Whats the best way to travel with several rolls @36 - 40

Thanks

I have tri-x stored in the freezer that's shown virtually no degradation at 14 years past the expired date.

When last I traveled with film, I put the film into clear plastic bags after removing the rolls from their canisters, and put the plastic bags into a large lead-lined carry sack. This was strapped to the outside of my bag where I could open it easily and allow for quick hand-inspection by the security guards.
