FD lenses any good? 35/2 and 100/2.8

I found these two lenses in a scrapyard:

Canon FD 35/2 SSC and Canon FD 100/2.8 SSC.

Both seem to be the last revision of those lenses.

Are they worth keeping for a day when I might have for example an m43 to use them on?

Yes both are excellent lenses, but neither one is the latest revision.

The SSC lenses are the old style mount, and the newer FD lenses have a button release for the lens mount instead of a breech-lock.

I would buy both without hesitation though. Especially if they are super cheap.

For the 35, does it have a chrome front ring?

Both have twist ring to mount lens, not a button, so you are probably right about that.
The 35 is black at the front.

Both lenses are still in Europe - I just moved back to California and had to lighten my load for the flight, so I guess I have to suspend this thread for another 6-12 months or so until I get a chance to visit and pick them up.
