Goodbye Kodak Slide Films

I’m so old, I miss Kodachrome II!
I used Kodachrome II as well, but I see no reason to miss it. There are much better films around now anyway. Kodak Ektar 100 is one. I can't really see the need for chromes anymore since most films are scanned nowadays anyway.

It is very a pity,E100G was the closest to me after the cessation of AGFA RSX 100.

I liked the look; even Kodachrome-X had its charms in the right application. And I don’t think that Ektachrome would have ever reached the acutance of the Kodachromes.

Reversal film still scans with less noise than negative film, to my knowledge.

But, I have only one remaining film camera (the estimable Pentax Espio Mini) and haven’t raised that in anger for more than 5 years.
