I should have known better than to take a big swig of Red Stripe before I looked at this....I shot half of it out of my nose from laughing so hard!

Thanks Helen, that's a classic! Time to clean the beer out of my keyboard

    Hi Helen,

Thanks, I am glad you like it. Yes, it is just a joke and all. It was the Halloween parade in NYC.

Here are two 25mm shots with the 25mm biogon. They are just snap shots of a friend of mine. He is laughing in the first one because he is looking at my eye in the external viewfinder -- he could see it perfectly, only it was tiny. It made him laugh. These are taken closer than rangefinder coupling...around .5m.

My photos are here: http://www.stuartrichardson.com and more recent work here: http://stuartrichardson.tumblr.com/ Please have a look at my book!

No filter, the film was Kodak CN400 and I then posted the cd jpeg in Alien Skin Exposure as Tmax400 and played with the curve.

    Great Shot!

I'm getting more and more convinced that a M film camera has to be added back in to the mix for weddings ... there's just something about Tri-X for this kind of shot isn't there?

Re: How about more and more fun with Leica M? (Film)

Stuart - I live in Miami but the world is my playground I've been to the city documenting weddings twice in the past month.

Helen - Thanks! I can't remember where I snapped it but you may be right.
