I looked out the window and was instantly mesmerized by the approaching storm. M6 was in my bag, loaded with T-Max 100. I removed the lens hood and put the lens right up against the glass. Wait 'till she sees this.

Claire: This is really nice! The grain and detail of the photo along with the medium-strong contrast are exceptional. Great composition too. Well done! Cheers, Matt.

    Thanks, Steve!

I'm still getting the hang of the Nikon scanner and software. Also, Ektar can really be all over the place with color, or maybe that's just me?

Thanks, Cindy! It's still a bit unpredictable for me and I had to really massage the colors in the mower and the martini shots.

All: Thanks. I'll load some Velvia and take the 75mm to get some close-ups. The color depends on how long it was chewed, brand, age, and weathering. Cheers, Matt.

    Mack: that is gorgeous!!!

Where do you get your Ektar processed? You seem to get more consistent color than I've been able to get and it's been suggested elsewhere that maybe the Walgreens' minilab has something to do with my results.

Steve/Lloyd/Maggie: Thank you! Yes, tulips first.
Maggie: I get it processed at a local lab in Seattle. There's lab in CA called North Coast Photo that I sent film to before i found the local place. They did good work. http://www.northcoastphoto.com/
Claire: No clues. Now, i have to go find an issue tomorrow.

Nice set Matt! I've been experimenting with Portra 400 also. Nice color & tone to it!

I agree. Those are terrific! And, I love the guitarist's pants. No need to worry about a flood. (I know, I'm getting old.)

Nice work guys! Some very nice stuff here. Anthony -- that is a great capture there. I like how the other person's arms frame the action.

Thanks gang! Portra's a great film. Although, probably no Paul Simon Portra song forthcoming. I believe Lloyd first suggested the film to me.
Steve: Looking forward to some photos.

It's almost June and the temp. in Seattle hasn't broken 60 deg. F. this month. Constantly, 10+ deg. below normal! I think it's BP's fault!

    Cheers, Matt
