Helen,

Number 2 is fantastic. Great use of B&W and the reflection to create a photo which is more than the sum of its parts.

Nice set. These two particularly speak to me. Such wonderful b/w too.:salute:
Thanks very much Lloyd!

Of the two you referenced, the first was shot on Tri-X and developed in D-76 (I think), and the second was taken just last week on BW400CN and developed at a local lab. I've been experimenting with the C-41 B&Ws (BW400 and XP2) and I think I prefer the BW400 ... but it sure ain't Tri-X. I am seriously thinking of digging through the boxes in the basement to find my tanks and re-learning how to develop myself again.

I've been playing around with the C-41 b/w as well. I'm leaning toward the BW400 also... and yes, it's certainly not Tri-X, but it is oh so convenient. Just checked out your B&W set on Flickr. Very nice stuff.

Thank you Helen. I appreciate your comment at flickr.

Here are a couple taken at a wedding of a cousin of mine in Chicago in 2000.

Both taken with my M6 and 50 Summilux.

The young man in the middle of the second picture is my now 15-year old son, Harry.
