Iver, Love your Dad and the Dalmation. Very cute!
Ken, I like Ektar and like this capture of a unique way to show our colors.
Ed, Nice set. I really like the chain link fence photo. The Jupiter 3 is an amazing lens.
Araakii, I like the glow from the Sonnar on the beautiful child. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks Steve. That was taken on a housing demolition. That photo shows residents resisting against the demolition team.

Just to change the mood a bit.

I didn't know what a Skink or a Skink zone plate was...but now I know. Lots of possibilities.

Iver, continue to love your street shots! . . . . . as others has commented the protest shot was outstanding . . . . .

Araakii, the intrigue and intensity of the shot of the young girl at the fair was a wonderful capture! Just loved the shot.

Ed, cool captures of the people on the hike, loved the colors captured in the last two photos along with the soft bokeh in the first photograph of the grass. Nicely done! . . . . . also love the bokeh in the 2nd & 3rd shot in the forest, outstanding!

Cindy, great shots with the M6 and 35 cron! The first photograph is eye candy for me, love the sharp detail of the boat and house in the distance when viewing from the spot in the garden.

I love the glow that the Lux ASPH renders! This photo is just very relaxing, it's like your watching the actual sun rise. This makes me want to shoot in color again. Hmm..

Steve, thanks for you kind words, they are appreciated! Castle Island is just a beautiful spot! One of my favorite walks in the city is to start at the entrance to the sugar-bowl and walk out along the causeway, then around the Island and back around the lagoon to complete the circle. I know your familiar with the spot!

Thanks Dan. Actually unlike Matt or Alvin I don't shoot at the market that much. I only go there when there's a special event or festival. I much prefer going to the Fremont Sunday market.

Wow....wasn't aware this thread was here until I saw Dan's note in another. I will need to go through about 48 pages now .

Araakii....those shots on this page are excellent!

I have dumped my M9 and gone fully analog as far as Leica M goes....here are some

    All Tri-X

    90 Elmarit-M

    50 Planar

Re: How about more and more fun with Leica M? (Film)

Thanks for the kind comment Lloyd! I just found myself not using it over the last couple of months. No need to hold onto it for now while I am on this film kick . Not to mention, I can't come anywhere close with digital for portraits to what Portra is giving me. I love this look!

New baby boy doesn't get as much picture time as the girl...but here is one with Portra 160 & 50 Lux ASPH

and one with the 50 Planar...which not sure why but I like the Planar better than the 50 Lux for film

That is magic. Are you developing your B/W (or color, for that matter) yourself? If so, we'd love to have development info.

    Here is my demonstration

This shot was with the M9....took a lot of PP to make this file look like this and still not totally satisfied:

This shot was Portra, could benefit from some pp....but didn't touch the image

I do like the color from Porta, and the grain structure is magic, although I have to say that first shot is really nice. I do notice some color difference, especially in her dress.
