I took my M6ttl's to an old goldmine in the Sonoran desert. I had them loaded with Portra 400. Leica 90 f/2.8 Emarit-M

Cindy, thanks for your kind words, they are always appreciated!

I do love the Kodak Porta film and have shot with both the 400 and 160 and enjoy the results.

I am very happy with the M6 TTL and it appears you are enjoying yours as well.

Are you back in Arizona for the winter?

Love the shots of the deserted vehicles in the desert, it looks like a fun place to shoot photographs.

Love the first with it sharp detail and depth of field and the narrow DOF on the 'Steering Wheel' photograph with the soft bokeh background. Also love the third shot the truck just pops of the page, wonderful clarity and color.

Re: The Look

The Look - Santa Clara 2011
Leica M4-2 + Voigtländer Skopar 50mm f/2.5
XP2 Super + Nikon Coolscan V + Lightroom 3.5

Something about this camera and lens just feels so right.

Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.
Very intimate moment - nice one Godfrey

Thanks, Joe and Dan.
Dan, I am back in Arizona and enjoying every minute here.

Joe, I really like all of your shots. Your town looks like a nice place to live. It has so much atmosphere.
My favorite is that Ford Truck. I like the way it glows in black and white.

Joe, love the look and feel of the B&W shots, the first photograph certainly provides a glimpse, or is representative of main street in a small town in America! All three a wonderful captures and very pleasing to the eye.

First shot made by me on my very recently acquired M2 (actually just out of the shop, the lovely Aperture of London, UK). My friends Ash and Noel (from whom I bought the CV 2,5/35 used, a lens he bought from me a year ago - dunno if it sounds smart, it´s true :D )

Merry Christmas to all of you!
