More and more film fun with something other than a Leica M

Cindy, I love that ruined house image of yours. Some of the walls look like they're leaning over!

Bensonga, beautiful clarity in those Hasselblad transparencies. The colours really pop.

Lot's of nice stuff going on in the analog thread these days!
I recently printed two large exhibitions for a photographer in Norway, and flew the work over. I did not have much extra baggage allowance, so I just brought the Hexar AF! That camera just works so well for me...makes me question sometimes why I have so much invested in extremely expensive digital gear when some of my best photos of people or street are with one that is less than 500 dollars! There are different shooting styles, of course, but working with the Hexar is great. I shot 4 rolls on the trip -- one was partially ruined by a plumbing problem in my new lab (rusty pipes and the filters are not installed yet...only processing for me at the moment though!).

Thank you Ben! That is one of my favorites as well. All credit to the architect of the opera house in Oslo though...it is an unbelievable building!
Leif -- thanks so much for the kind words. Oslo was really fantastic. It was my first time there, but I would love to go back. I think it would be a great city to live in (assuming you are paid in NOK!!!!).

Stuart, I really like the look of your black and white photos. Oslo looks beautiful, and you really have an eye for the compositions.

pencil_tube, Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your camera. I especially like your second photo with the bathing "huts" on the water.

Found time and energy to develop some Legacy 400 that´s been waiting since summer. The usual FM2n and 55 Micro, XTOL 1+1

As you can see; my daughter caught a large trout, my wife was even more enthusiastic (keen fisherwoman, she is)

I like these both, Leif. I especially like the enthusiasm captured in the one that includes your dog. Even the dog seems to be smiling.

Thanks Cindy! Glad you like them. Yes, Oslo is beautiful, but the people...and I thought the Icelanders were good-looking! Leif ably shows this as well with his family...the trout isn't the only beautiful thing in the picture!

Steve -- those are great. I really like the fifth one of the man in the chair. The body-language is so strong, particularly in relation to the architecture.

Thanks all - you are way too kind! Actually; I need to be tougher in the developing process with this film. The negs are too flat and require more work than should be necessary. Maybe I´ll have to try Rodinal next time ...

Steve, great series! Strong images - is that Clint Eastwood in #1? :D

Stuart, on beauty; you ain´t seen me!:deadhorse:

Leif, Exactly what i thought!;) Thanks!

Dead crickets on the shore of Lake Eyre in South Austalia. Likely, they came down to the water's edge to drink but were trapped in the salt as the water evaporated. Captured with a Canon AE1 with a Vivitar 75-300mm and Fujichrome Sensia.
