The Restored 1934 NKVD FED

Deceased, but remembered fondly here...
Here is my restored 1934 NKVD FED and original lens. FEDKA did a wonderful job down to even replacing the shell. I got the early FED lens cap from the Ukraine and FEDKA found me a period correct case for it which needs a new strap. It's really nice to get the old cameras back working particular those with the history of this one. Traded for by an army intelligence officer with the first US unit to enter Soviet Occupied Berlin from his Soviet counter part. Yes, I'm shooting this week, pictures to follow.

It's great when you can link some history to the equipment. Like LeicaTom does over on RFF. Looks like a nice camera--lets see some pics from it!
