Not so much grain, blotch, etc, I am afraid (if that is what is meant by "Boken").

Here is a "Boket" shot of mine with no details.:)

Boken: The Out of Focus areas of the image. Grain/Noise may be a factor at high ISOs. Lenses tend to have a signature boken by manufacture. The wider open f/stop you shoot at, the greater the Out of Focus background areas are less defined. (At a close focused object)

Nice capture btw

I figured that it might be something to do with "Bokeh".:D

M5-guy, I am not sure how good your monitor is in showing darker shades. The second shot you have here has lots of black blotches. Any idea what they are?

I will add a few more old snaps as well.

One of my all time favorite snaps.

Nikon D40x, a 28mm T/S lens

This sort shots are the very reason why I jumped at mirrorless cams with liveview and swivel screens. But, alas, that has not helped me to make such shots at all (I guess there still a few lenses missing in my m4/3rds line up..:ROTFL:)

Epson R-D1s, Canon 50/0.95

Epson R-D1s, Canon 50/0.95

Epson R-D1s, Canon 50/0.95

Nikon something 50/1.2 AiS, UV capture

Nikon D80-IR, 10.5mm fisheye Nikkor

Pardon me. Looks like my dyslexia kicked in.

I meant the 4th shot. The one with the bright white rope.

What, They show up :ROTFL:
My bad... poor post I admit.... I was "tiring" to clean up some shadow areas that had a few scratches from the lab.. (I did contact the lab, and their QC is much better now)

If you have a laptop.... just push your monitor back a little to darken it up.... All Gone :ROTFL:

Thanks, M5-Guy and tokengirl.:)

I am pretty convinced that even in another 8 years of serious snapping, I would still favor that image.

That is one strong example that helped form a personal opinion that "bokeh" for the sake of boket is not the thing for me.

Here is another boket snap.

Nikon D300, 20/3.5 AiS plus a K1 ring
