Hedgehog Anyone?

Hi Bob,

Pretty common ove this side of the pond, not as pets, just wild/garden animals. Their defense method of rolling into a ball when danger threatens is not much use when they try to cross roads :(, but they get their own back because their spines will penetrate a tyre .

Not the sort of creature to cuddle. The myth is to put out bread and milk for them at night - they are nocturnal and good for the garden, crunching slugs and snails. Better than bread and milk is dog or cat food.

may be of interest Hedgehogs

Best wishes,

Ray

Very sad story. It is difficult to lose a beloved pet, and even worse to have lost two in succession. My parents rescued a kitten last month, only to have it die of complications a week later. Despite the very short time to bond, their grief was very real.

So sorry for your loss.
