Hi Guys,
I just switched back to Canon, got 5D, 50mm 1.4, 17-40mm and 430ex II. I probably got the best 50mm 1.4 out there, it is sharp wide open with minimal CA/PF, but when I tried shooting today in almost total darkness trying to focus anywhere on the face, it would not focus properly. If I tried to focus on something with more detail like a pillow, it focused fine. I know there is a laser guide that helps focusing, but that must be the problem, because when I shoot without the flash it focuses fine. Is this normal, has anyone experienced something similar?
