    Rented a 10-22 for a recent job.
Not used to composing for such a wide lens.

Trying out my new 24 TS-E f/3.5L II. Garden shot in late evening. Some down tilt to bring foreground into focus.

Love T/S. I'd really like the new 24 but know its unlikely so will be happy with my 45 and do panos when I need wider. Enjoy Carl.

Thanks Diane. This is my first T/S lens and I still have a lot to learn, but really enjoying this lens.

The bench is normally on the beach but the water had risen dramatically this spring (only a couple of days) and suddenly it was out in the water. I used a 8xND filter fot water smoothness.

Those are great, Dan! Your name sounds Swedish, are you living in Skåne, by any chance..? I have heard that they have gotten huge amounts of rain there. I'm Swedish, but currently live in Norway.

Really like it! Interesting composition, makes me want to look at it again and again.

Nice to "see" another Swede in here Is the rain situation really bad? I haven't followed the Swedish news these last days.

Helena: waterwise we hade one afternoon that was quite dramatic. Our basement got flooded and my wife and myself were running up and down emptying buckets with water nonstop for about 3 hours...since we were at home when it happened we actually escaped any damage. But I tell you one thing - we slept for ten hours and we could hardly move our bodies the next day

Wow, sounds like a nightmare! Glad you escaped damage. Water can do real harm.

I can't believe that autumn will be here soon, and shortly after that winter. We usually get quite a lot of snow in October already.

    Thank you very much!

It's funny... On the other side of the road tons of people were lined up taking photos of a great landscape view, but when they saw me photographing this car at least 15 of them starting doing the same thing. So, I only got a couple of shots before the car was crowded with people posing etc..

Two from today... took a few hours off to shoot in an old auto graveyard in Texas. Both shot with the 28mm f/1.8 and the Canon 5DII. I'm enjoying doing BW conversions again. Love all the chrome on that old Chrysler.

I received my 5DII, my first full frame, from the Canon Loyalty Program on Friday, and took it out for a spin yesterday.

And, yes, apparently one can shoot birds in flight with the 5DII ...
