Been on a film binge for the past several months, there are some great posts here!
An abandoned rail car
An abandoned tunnel near the abandoned rail car. I think I have abandonment issues
One from tonight
What did you shoot that with Scott? Very smoothly ethereal. Looks like the 85L wide open but the perspective seems wrong for it.
I am not a painter, nor an artist. Therefore I can see straight, and that may be my undoing. - Alfred Stieglitz
I used a Contax N 24-85 coverted by Conurus for Canon (and a little PP).
Great photos, keep them coming!
Helena, very 3D looking, love the umbrella photo.
An amanita shot in Acadia National Park last week with a Mamiya 80mm f/1.9 wide open on a Canon 1DMKIV w/12mm extension tube.

Sunday morning, waiting for coffee. Deep Ellum, Texas at the All Good Cafe.
The All Good Cafe in Deep Ellum will be the setting for a new installment of "The Good Guys" (Fox TV) in the coming weeks. They are shutting the cafe down in the coming week, removing most of the current decorations to shoot the TV show.
Here's a link to the All Good Cafe's website: http://www.allgoodcafe.com/
Great place to eat, great prices as well.
6 days and no photos..wow it is toooo much waiting!
So one from me!
While scouting El Matador State Beach for a CD cover shoot a few months ago, I came up with this - shot with a Canon 24mm T/S II. Finally had time today to work on it.
New addition to the family. He will be coming home in 10 days. Shot these at the breeders with the 1DMKIV and 70-200mm.
I'm new here.....found this thread......and figured I'd better get busy and post something.
Here's one from the local "gardens" and figured that I'd start this shot.
Comments and suggestions welcome

Here's three from the Palouse area of Washington State, where a large portion of the world's wheat comes from. Canon 5D, Canon 24-105mm L lens.
Just a summers day on the track...........looking into their eyes.........
Sometimes the location is not about the location. It just helps provide the inspiration. In this case, we were at The Salton Sea near Salton City Beach and the inspiration hit.
Three shots from today with the 5D2 and 24-105L.
A plate full of color.
Weathered door on park building.
Trophies in boathouse window.
A few (delayed) images with the 5D II.
And one just for fun...
South of France. 1DsIII.
Jack and Mike:
This all give me great hope for Canon 5DII days ahead! Really nice images!!
Best to all,
My wife gave me a pin hole kit for Christmas. Here is the result (with a little help from a 24-70)
Hey all, first post on this forum.
Most of these are from a trip to Paris with my pregnant woman this fall, with a 1DmkII and a 24-70. Cold colours and some desaturation (not selective such!) sort of separate these from the rest. The long shutter seaside pictures are from an island just outside Tromsø, Norway, where I live. These are taken with the 1D/24 f/1.4, and a 20D with a 90mm Tamron Macro. The two portraits of an adult woman(auntie) and an old man (grand uncle) are from a family reunion in November, when I had to try my new 24mm out. Love it!
Hi Helena! Not sure how I stumbled over this forum, but think I got sick of the exclusively Canon-centric ones. Great thread, hope I don´t ruin it with my hack work.
Anyway, have a short series coming up again. Shot around our neighborhood. C&C always welcome.
Down the drain
Short span lifetime
In between childhoods
Some great shots posted here lately.
Erik, very elegant presentation!
Arild, welcome to the forum. As Helena said, nice to see another Norwegian posting here!
Speaking of which, here are two images from Sweden
And three from Norway... First shot is taken with the 17mm T/S E.
This seems to become a very Norwegian forum. Great photos, all three of you. The snowy street almost makes me homesick, Helena. Is it Røros?
Unfortunately, I don't own a Canon, so I can't contribute anything here.
I don't care what gear I have.

Arne - I love the starkness of your black and white. I just want to see the horizon level on this as it's not off enough to feel on purpose. Isn't is great to see how well that lens draws black and white tones.
#1: Leksand in Sweden. My parents-in-law live there.
#2: Trondheim, Norway.
#3: An old church town called Bonnstan in my hometown Skellefteå, in northern Sweden.
The church town consists of old cottages and apartments where farmers, who lived too far out in the countryside to return home the same day, stayed when they visited the church in town.
Verrry cold morning here...
Devon... take a trip to Tahoe recently? Nice pup!
I did! That's the trail up to the north shore lookout. He does love the snow.
Thanks DHart and Helena! I appreciate the input.
Finally dug my 5D out of the closet on Friday and took a few images. Still miss my 40D (stolen). I've been thinking of replacing it with a 7D....or if I can swing the funds, a 1D Mk4.
In the meantime.....here are a couple shots from this week, both taken with the 24-105L lens. Seems like a pretty good lens to me, although I've read mixed reviews.
