    Looks like Moire in the film canister. Does the X100 not have an AA filter?

    Nah... probably just the screen pattern from the offset print on the canister. On the other hand, screen patterns in uniform colours are notorious for bringing out moiré, so who knows

    I agree with you. This looks like a deliberate pattern on the film canister i.e. someone's idea as to how to make the film canister look more interesting.
