I was wondering how the fuji 23/1.4 compares to a canon 35/2 IS shot on ff. Lets say both cameras are 16mp, or downsample the ff image to 16mp so there is no extra resolution to be gained from the mp. Can the 23/1.4 match the look of ff and 35/2 shot at equiv. apertures, or is the ff image still noticeably more punchy especially if both are shot wide open. How good is the 23/1.4 resolution, contrast wide open vs the 35, I've looked on flickr to get an idea but would like to hear from someone who used both. If you had the slightly wider 28/1.8 instead of 35/2 IS, how does it compare with that?
